Hunger in School Children
Corona Virus has hit all of us hard in one way or another, and it has hit some families much harder than others. Many families have experienced job loss, reduced hours, and loss of income for various other reasons, and people are suffering.
It is estimated that 1 in 4 children may go hungry this year due to COVID-19.
WALK WITH MEN is working with various Seminole County schools to help stock their onsite food pantries. These food pantries are run by people who know the children, know the families, and are familiar with their needs. Onsite food pantries also make it possible for parents to pick up food when they pick up their children from school.
